Adding a picture to the forum.

To add a picture to a forum you have to host it, meaning that you add your picture to a free online picture hosting site. The host will download the picture you select from your computer , then you copy/paste the code to the forum in your reply to make the picture appear...

You will need to go here to open an free account http://photobucket.com/ what is easy to do .

Then in photobucket click on (my album) after clicking that you will go to another page that your pictures will be stored.

Below is the order you need to follow to add a picture to the forum.

1) Save picture like normal from internet by right click on mouse / save as / to a place like my pictures inside your documents on your computer.

2)Open you Photobucket page : Then in photobucket click on (my album) after clicking that you will go to another page that your pictures will be stored. ( After you have added them ).

3) Under where it says UPLOAD IMAGES & VIDEO you see a Browse , after clicking this another box will open form your computer , open the file where the picture you have saved and click on it then a description of that picture will appear in the box.

4) Click upload : this will then add your picture to your account inside photobucket.

5) After the picture is uploaded it will go back to the my album screen, scroll down and you will see a small picture of the one you added.

6) Under the picture there are 3 boxes with the letters next to them looking like this.

Url
Tag
Img

The Url is the code you would copy and paste for your Avatar so it links the added picture by a web address or also called a URL

The Tag is the code for adding a video to the forum , when this code is added a small TV screen appears on the forum then members will click the TV screen to watch the video your added.

Img code means Image : this is the one you will want to add a picture to the forum copy /paste this code to your reply on the forum and the picture will appear.

This is how we all add pictures to the internet ...

go on have a go its just like riding a bicycle and if I can do it anyone can xo

Good one Dio that will help members add some nice Cars and other Pictures.
I use Photo Bucket and it's very reliable and easy to use. If you add something a little Naughty they will remove it and delete your account so keep it clean :laughing6:
